SBS-1 Microwave Blind Spot Detection System

Description

The Steelmate SBS-1 warns the driver when a passing (closing) vehicle enters their blind spot. This greatly reduces the possibility of a fatal accident caused while overtaking or changing lanes.

How does the Steelmate SBS-1 Blind Spot Detection System work?

• When not indicating: The corresponding warning light installed on the bottom of the left/right windscreen pillar trim will solidly illuminate for approximately 3 seconds when a passing (closing) vehicle enters the blind spot
• When indicating: The corresponding warning light installed on the bottom of the left/right windscreen pillar trim will flash 3 times and an audible alert will sound when a passing (closing) vehicle enters the blind spot
• The warning light will not continuously illuminate if the passing vehicle stays in the blind spot
